A rare copy of the final issue of The Outpost magazine, a gem of an independent magazine from Lebanon. The issue entitled "The Possibility of Finding Home" was originally released in October 2016.
It took a whole year to complete this, during which they reached out to and collaborated with more than 200 writers, artists, creators, and thinkers from the Arab region and beyond. This is an issue about home at a time when many young Arabs are looking for one.
The Outpost is a magazine of possibilities: it identifies, understands and analyses the conflicts, morals, energies and opportunities of a changing Arab world and lays down possible futures. The magazine was published twice a year from Beirut from 2011 until 2016. Spearheaded by Ibrahim Nehme, the magazine brought together hundreds of writers, creatives and thinkers across the Arab world and garnered critical acclaim early on, with mentions in Monocle, Buzzfeed and the Guardian, who referred to the Outpost as “a successor to the Economist”. It was also recognized as one of the most important independent magazines in 2015 by Stack Magazines.
